The Deepening Journey 6-Session Video Series for Women with Journal Workbook

So grateful for this ministry and the community that it offers. What a wonderful time of reflection, space and growth in sweet relationship with God. When it comes to being wholly saturated in the presence of the Lord- it’s so hard as women to get that in the day to day work/ life grind. The Deepening weekend offered intentional space of time for God to bring healing and perspective to various wounded places. Incorporating relationship with others, worship, fun and creative intimacy with God. I can not wait to return for another experience and seek God for another layer of growth. Jesus died on the cross so we could live in freedom for eternity. But, He also died on the cross for us to live in freedom now. The journey continues...

I purchased the Deepening Journey Journal and video set to do with a friend, then received an invite to the online community of weekly study. I thought it sounded interesting, and as I have been on a journey to walk deeper with the Lord, it looked like something I would enjoy. However, the effect of the study proved to be far more than I anticipated. I expected it to be as most studies are, revealing deeper mysteries of the Lord and having some formula to dig deeper, but this journey took a different turn and helped me to realize areas of my life that were not surrendered, and how that I, myself, was keeping me from going deeper. It also brought to light some deeper truths that are often overlooked in church, taught me the value and importance of listening, and created a hunger to be more intense in my pursuit of the deeper things of God. I did the journey once with the Zoweh group. Now I am doing it with a close friend. Next, I want to recreate the same group style that I experienced, in my hometown. I would recommend this as a must-study for any woman who is eagerly in pursuit of intimacy with Father God. I plan to attend the retreat they offer in conjunction with the study in the spring and look forward to the fellowship with likeminded women.

It's reminded me that God is never finished working in us, wanting even more healing throughout our lives. I'm 69 years old, and while I've been blessed to have had healing for many painful areas of my life throughout the years, there are always more layers. What really surprised me were some of the new areas I'd never considered, especially coming out of the false vs. true self session. I'd like for other women of any age to know how tender our God is, how gentle, how caring, especially in our vulnerable areas. I've shared the workbook with two of my friends so far, one from a Catholic background. She was hooked on the Extravagant Listening (section one) part. I can't wait to see how God speaks to her through the rest of it.

We have been planted in the garden of the Creator of the universe. He carefully tends us and nurtures us. More than that, He cherishes us. I forget that so often in the busyness of life! When I adopt a plant from the clearance rack at Lowes Home Improvement, it is not pretty! It may not even appear to be alive! I have prepared a place for it! I pick it up and place it gently in that place. I water it and say, “Roots, grow deep and wide”. The Deepening Journey is a place God has prepared for you. A place for your roots to grow deep and wide in Him, the Creator of the universe. I am so grateful for the beautiful team of women who created this resource, and for allowing me to experience the depth and richness of The Deepening Journey

I appreciate the Deepening Resources as tools to engage in the deep places for inviting wholeness in my heart as I journey with Jesus. Sometimes it’s hard to journal or know what to pray when we have aches and longings that need tenderness. After processing as a small group of ladies, we found such authenticity and mercy unfold… whether you know one another or are just getting below the surface; these tools empower women to lighten their heart to walk in fullness of hope. I have revisited the material for continued tending and encouragement. This is an amazing gift for women of all ages/stages.

God has brought up a ton about why I fend to go at it along rather than live in redemptive community, particularly when it comes to gleaning from mentors. I am digging into why I struggle to receive from God and sisters-in-Christ, as well. It has been such a powerful journey, and I feel like I am just scratching the surface of what God has for me!

I have experienced God's presence in the midst of depression. I was feeling terribly overwhelmed in many ways, and The Deepening Journey came just at the right time. The Time Alone with God was very sweet.

We all want to feel wanted. The Deepening Journey helped me see where that fell short in my life, and the wounds and self protection that came from that. It has been so powerful in breaking down the lies that I have built in my head about what others think of me. I have stayed silent out of fear of being disagreed with ... so now I'm taking risks, sharing my heart, and it has brought healing to me.
